Vibrators
http://www.greatpleasures.com/images/products/1601-11_sc.JPGA source of sexual pleasure for women and men for over 100 years, vibrators provide stimulation for genitals and erogenous zones like nothing else. Many women who have a difficult time achieving orgasm, have never had an orgasm, or experience difficulty "getting over the edge" of orgasm find that vibrators help them meet their orgasmic goals. Most vibrator users use vibrators as a happy extra to an already great sex life, enhancing their masturbation experiences, or to spice up partnered sex. Men like to use vibrators, too. Vibrators reliably produce orgasms, and they introduce an exciting visual element.
You cannot "get addicted" to vibrators, nor do they desensitize your genital region, and they do not become a substitute for partnered sex..
Vibrators come in all shapes, sizes and materials. Most vibrators are battery operated, though some run on regular electricity, and some come with rechargeable batteries.
If you've never used a vibrator before, select one that looks visually appealing to you. Decide if you want something for external stimulation (clitoral), or for both clitoral stimulation and vaginal penetration. Vibrators designed for penetration work just as well for clitoral stimulation. First-timers will want a vibrator with variable speeds, so she can adjust the intensity of the vibration as feels good to her.
Unless your vibe is waterproof, avoid getting water or moisture into the working parts. Water in the battery area may ruin your vibrator, so take care while washing. You won't get shocked, but it can ruin your toy.

Bullets and Beads
http://www.greatpleasures.com/images/products/1810-13_sc.JPGVibrating bullets and beads come in a variety of sizes and their shapes are like an egg, bullet, or pearl-shaped beads. They're made for clitoral and nipple stimulation (external), and feel wonderful when used for clitoral orgasms and during penetration (alone or with a partner). Some women like to insert them vaginally, though we recommend users place the bullet inside a condom for easy retrieval and cleanup. Tugging them out by the cord may break the vibrator. Ben Wa Balls are small metal balls meant for vaginal insertion; they are the stuff of urban legends, yet some women enjoy how the beads feel in their vagina when they are in motion, such as walking or rocking. Large vaginal beads may be inserted and kept in place during other activities such as clitoral stimulation, or may be used to practice strengthening the vaginal muscles (Kegel or PC muscles). Anal beads are a string of beads connected by a string or rubber line, and some vibrate. Anal beads always have a handle or ring at the end for easy retrieval. (See Anal.)

Pumps
http://www.greatpleasures.com/images/products/LT135_sc.JPGSuction pumps create a vacuum of air, drawing blood to the area to temporarily enlarge and heighten sensitivity to whatever is being pumped. Because human arousal causes blood to flow to genital areas, pumps are helpful in stimulating arousal. Nipple pumps, clit pumps and penis pumps are all popular, and the areas become enlarged as the erotic sensitivity increases. Pumps can be used for penis enlargement and some men report an overall increase over time, though there have been no studies to support these claims. Penis pumps can be handy for maintaining erection if upon removal they are immediately followed by the application of a cock ring. Never over pump an area; this may damage nerve endings and can harm capillaries, like when someone gives you a "hickey." Pumps work well when used on shaved areas, and with a bit of lube or oil at the base to create a perfectly tight seal. Do not use pumps if you have medical conditions surrounding whatever area you'd like to pump (consult your doctor).

Cock Rings
http://www.greatpleasures.com/images/products/2353-00_sc.JPGAlso called "erection rings" or "penis rings," cock rings provide constriction at the base of the penis and testicles, resulting in both pleasure and firmer, longerlasting erections. The amount of added firmness and lasting power they provide depends on any number of factors, such as mood, medication, situation, and other physical factors--your individual experience may differ from time to time. Vibrating cock rings give vibration to the wearer and provide clitoral stimulation to a female partner during vaginal penetration -- making a man into a vibrator.
To apply a ring with a snap or Velcro closure, place the strap under and behind the testicles at the base (scrotum), and bring the ring closed at the top of the penis base (pubic mound). For stretchy rings, open the ring wide, and encase the entire package inside, encircling the penis and testicles at the base. Some men may find application and removal easier when they trim or shave the pubic hair. Apply more constriction if it feels good by tightening the ring, or adding more stretchy rings. Some men may prefer only to use rings on their penis, rather than penis and testicles. Of course, if you experience pain or discomfort, remove the ring, and do not wear tight rings for more time than is comfortable.

Dildos
http://www.greatpleasures.com/images/products/LT124_sc.JPGDildos are non-vibrating insertion toys, used for masturbation and partnered penetration, such as with a strap-on or double dildo. They come in all shapes, sizes and materials. They can be realistic, or fantastic in shape. Dildos with a flared base may be used for anal play, and some may fit into a harness. Curved dildos are suitable for G-spot play. Double dildos are used to penetrate two people at once, and coordination is half the fun.

Strap-Ons
http://www.greatpleasures.com/images/products/3353-23_sc.JPGA strap-on harness is any harness that can be worn and holds a dildo, for penetration. They can be used to penetrate a lover vaginally, anally and orally. Harnesses come in leather, fabric, in a variety of sizes, and have numerous variations such as crotchless, g-string style, and thigh harnesses. Most harnesses allow the user to remove the dildo for cleaning, and to change dildos for variety. They vary in complexity from simple straps with holes to interchangeable units that allow for the use of a variety of different attachments. Harnesses are used by all kinds of couples for all kinds of reasons and types of sex play.

Flavored Lubricants
Flavored Lubricants are fun for oral sex play, and come in a large range of flavors. Select flavors that sound appealing. Warming oils heat on contact, and warm even more when you blow on them. Warming oils typically contain oil that will destroy latex (condoms), so use them carefully, and women with vaginal sensitivities may want to only use flavored and warming lubes externally. The additive Nonoxynol-9 has been found to be an abrasive detergent that can harm sensitive internal surfaces; we recommend against using lube with this additive.
Silicone Lubricants
Silicone lube has incredible staying power, yet feels like a thin oil, and has been determined to be totally safe for vaginal use. Silicone lube does not absorb into the skin. Silicone lube may react with silicone sex toy materials, and we do not recommend using these together.

Lubricants
One of the biggest myths about lubricant is that it is only used by people who "need" it--when in fact it is used recreationally by pleasure seekers purely for the fact that extra-slippery sex feels incredible. Even people who lubricate quite well naturally love to use lube to increase their fun. Naturally well-lubricated, aroused women aren't always wet when they want to be, and this can come from antihistamines, medications, mood, hormones and other factors. And for anal play, using lube is a requirement to prevent painful anal penetration. Lubes come in many forms, and making a selection depends on personal preference and your intended use. Lubes come in varying consistencies such as thin (liquid), creamy (lotion), thick (gel) and silicone (similar to oil). Lubes come in many forms, and making a selection depends on personal preference and your intended use.

Sleeves
Male masturbation sleeves add a new dimension to men's self-pleasure, and come in a huge variety of shapes, sizes, materials, and themes. Some are simple tubes that provide sensation and constriction, yet they can range to large replicas of realistic anatomy with multiple openings and vibration. Something different than the usual masturbation routine, they can also add to fantasies such as sex with a porn star, or anal sex. They are made of porous materials and should be cleaned thoroughly after each use, and rinsed well. They can be warmed up in hot water, or cooled down in ice water for a twist (never boil or freeze). Sleeves should never be shared.

Condoms
http://www.greatpleasures.com/images/products/8801-32_sc.JPGAvailable in latex, non-latex (polyurethane) and animal skin, condoms prevent pregnancy and the spread of many viruses and infections. Animal skin condoms should only be relied on for pregnancy prevention; the small pores may allow transmission of some sexually transmitted infections. Oil of any kind will break a latex condom--that includes massage oils, cooking oils, baby oil, edible finger paints, and food substances such as whipped cream, chocolate and others. Blow up a balloon, rub a tiny bit of oil on it, and it will break in seconds (try it!). Polyurethane condoms are great for people with latex sensitivities, though they do not stretch and require lots of lube.
All condoms need lube; even latex will absorb moisture. Drip a drop or two of lube into the inside tip of a condom before rolling it on for added sensation for both of you, plus it will keep the condom resilient.

Extensionshttp://www.greatpleasures.com/images/products/2028-20_sc.JPG
Penis extensions are sleeves that slide on or unroll over a penis to add length and width, to reduce sensation, or simply for a different sensation for both sex partners. Most extensions are made of porous materials and should not be shared with other partners and should only be used vaginally or anally--never both. Clean the extension thoroughly after each use and rinse well; discard after a few uses to maintain a sanitary condition.
Batteries
Toys that run on batteries generally have a diagram on the inside where the battery goes--but not always! Generally with regular AA, AAA, C and N batteries, the springs inside the battery case go on the negative "-" end of the battery, while the positive end "+" contacts the flat side. Batteries that group side-by-side (such as in the Krystal Wabbit's base) will have batteries that fit in the case in opposite directions. Batteries that run in parallel (like the two in the Waterproof Rabbit) will go in the same direction, following each other down the shaft. Watch-type batteries may take a bit of effort to remove; tap the edge on a firm surface like a table. These batteries also run in parallel (following each other in the same direction) and the "nipple" side goes down. Your batteries will last longer if they are removed and stored outside the toy when not in use. Always remove the batteries from your toys before you pack your toys for travel.
